Some still think R. Martínez is a fraud and that he didn't pull out the best of these Belgian players.

Whatever... France were better and they deserved their win. In the World Cup 1-0 is a great victory, big result.

Manage to catch most of the first half (with some freezing / lag on my iPad on the coach back and the full second half at the pub. Looked like a well deserved win for France.

Can't see them losing a final again after 2016

Whoever thinks like that knows nothing about football

Belgium came into the WC semifinals with a 20-something unbeaten run. And they defeated a very good Brazil NT in the quarterfinals

His job with the NT has been outstanding so far

France vs Belgum

Meh. Get 4 European teams together and it is like this. France has failed repeatedly in the past couple tournaments and Belgium looked inexperienced.

Hopefully Croatia rolls to the Title. Not a Croatian but the only team left I would feel proud cheering for as a Native European

Croatia's main strength is their midfield. They get advantages for their midfield. But against England, they have to more cautious about their defense. England has an excellent forward than Croatia.

England's luck has no limits.
The following players are doubtful;

Subasic
Vrsjalko (99% out)
Lovren

I don't know what it gives, because I'm not going to make allegations like ramsej84 is doing, but the fact Cakir is even allowed anywhere close to a whistle smells of corruption to me.

It doesn't even stop here. Felix Zwayer will be on the VAR panel. Yes, it's that guy who refused to give Bayern a stonewall penalty AFTER WATCHING VAR.

Glasgow is running out of Croatia shirts as Scots back England’s semi-final opponents

GLASGOW is running out of Croatia shirts as footie fans north of the border continue to back England’s opponents in the World Cup.

Shops have been inundated with requests from customers who want to purchase the chequered kit before England's semi-final crunch match tonight.

Greaves Sports in Glasgow has completely sold out.

Managing director Sandy Greaves told the Evening Times it was a fun rivalry: "This normally happens any time England plays.

"Last Saturday morning all the die-hard Scottish fans wanted the Swedish jersey.

"It's a Scottish thing. I'm sure the same thing happens down south."

A spokesman for the Nike shop in Glasgow added: “We have been absolutely inundated with requests for Croatia shirts.”

Thousands of Scots have been backing England’s opponents throughout the World Cup and will continue to do so when Gareth Southgate’s men try and book their place in the final. Around 37 million people are expected to tune in and watch the match at 7pm.

Scots are tonight for Croatia, haha.  =D>
