I just want a new winner that’s all. I’d be fine with Uruguay winning if not for that bastard Suarez!

The best possible semifinal lineup that I want to see is:
Uruguay vs Belgium VS Croatia vs Colombia

I definitely want Kane to win the golden-boot. In fact I hope he breaks Fontaine's record and won't mind if he someday breaks Klose's.

Stupid Argentinian referee ](*,)
I thought this was red as well but the local pundit said that since the fouling player showed intent to go for the ball and not delibaretly foul the attacker then the decision was correct !!!??? Don't ask me how the ref could see if the intention was to go for the ball or hurt the player.

It was an empty goal FFS. He had no choice but to foul. In that scenario any tackle which caused a foul stopped a 99.9% goal whether intentional or not.

It's BS. What if Denmark qualified last night? The game should have never gone to penalties in fair circumstances (i.e. no foul). Sure, credit to Schmeichel for saving the penalty, but it would have been impossible for him to save the original shot.

If the player had been sent off and Croatia failed to win anyway that was fair. But what happened last night is BS.

Exactly! The Danish player took a chance and it worked without being punished!

More stats in England's favour...

Last time Russia were in the QF was in 1966

Plus James is out

Nothing will beat the curse of ITV. I wish every England match was on that channel.

Btw I got Russia in the office sweepstake. I was pretty uninterested before, I still am, but if they can beat Croatia...

Imagine that revenge for me. Russia beat England in the SF giving me prize money for beating England and finishing runner up at least...

On top of Brazil and playing good, but with that tempo and pressing they will be finished by the first half.
