This will come to bite Croatia...
They had the chance to eliminate them...

Don't be surprised if Arg will end up winning gold.

Doubt they'll make it past France anyway and if they do that's another favourite out of the way

It's actually made me feel better for tomorrow anyway. Maybe it's not a tournament of shocks after all and the big teams will win out eventually

Big teams? Argentina?

A team should be big by merit not by name. Argentina is as big as Inter Milan in that sense

They're still a big team regardless of how shit they are. Ask anyone who knows anything about football and they'll say Argentina are a major footballing nation. I hate them but you can't deny that. And Inter are a big club also

Now we are talking. WC is entering it's best part (knockout games)

9 points from 3 matches, 7:1 GD, no suspended players. =D>

It's one of the best group stages ever, if not the best after Euro 2008 where we also won all 9 points and had 7:1 GD with Ireland, Germany and Poland.

I just don't want to see history repeating itself. We played awesome Euro 08' and Euro 16', but were knocked out in the first K.O. stages.

This generation is the best after the 1998 World Cup generation. It's the last time Modrić and Rakitić are leading the team in the World Cup and the last chance to achieve something great and memorable.

Denmark doesn't look damn strong, however, there are no easy opponents anymore and this kind of a team can cause serious troubles and surprise everyone.
Croatia are clear favourites and it remains in very demanding 90 minutes to prove it. Forthcoming Sunday is the D-Day.

From the highlights I saw I noticed two things... there were many subs starting and I saw acres of space for Iceland, as if Cro didn't want to win and they won by mistake.
