Look at the "English" and I neither do I know of no such studies nor did a quick google help me find something...

So I'm reading a book about Bayern and guess what I find? References to a referee helping Real Madrid in 1976. Against Heynckes' Gladbach. Image

1934 Mussolini (Hitler was not a football fan cause otherwise I am sure that at lest the would have won one as well) :)
1938 Mussolini
1966 no comments
1978 Argentina and their dictatorship
1990 the Unification of Germany and the non existant penalty...
1998 France (Platini) and the ghost of Ronaldo#9

come to my mind...

34 almost surely was some match (or sorting) fixing in favour of Italy on the way of the final but 38 was fair
66 hosts were favored maybe a little too much by still nothing of excessive
90 was fair (Klinsmann and Völler’s diving act was good and the referee just believed it plus the stadium was totally against Argentina)
98 well Ronaldo had serious health troubles hour before the final so...

Klinsmann didn't dive.
It was a clear foul worthy of a red card that left a 15cm gash on his shin. [source]
People say he dived because after hitting the ground he did those gyrations, that were out of pure pain and maybe a bit of accentuations. Still, saying he dived is unfair because it makes it sound like the player did not foul Klinsmann or even make contact with him, but in actuality it was a big foul.

The penalty on Voeller was soft, but 5-6 minutes earlier a clear penalty was denied to Germany. [source]

Oh well, still better... If they were real fouls I can not understand why someone can tell that final was rigged...
I was just saying who citing WC 90 as corrupted was without any sense...

I don't think 90 was corrupt. Obviously referees weren't perfect, but nothing really stands out.

Not corrupt, but let's say that the winds where blowing in the direction of Germany ... I had listed my op on it, Germany was going to be unified again so I believe that many wanted to see them as World Champs

Or they made a bigger effort themselves. Why do you form such opinions without any basis at all? This is not Malta where when the club's sponsor has an anniversary they magically win the league that season. There were decisions for and against Germany.

From what I remember...

For: soft-penalty awarded in final.
Against: Clear penalty denied in final, Rijkaard should've been sent off much earlier vs Germany and Voeller should have remained on the pitch.

And you have also forgotten who that of ‘90 was the third WC final in a row played by Germany and many of that players were also in the team who had lost to Argentina four years before... Germany wanted both the win and the revenge...

PSG's 6-1 win over Red Star Belgrade is being investigated because one of the higher ups of Red Star allegedly bet €5m that they will lose by 5 goals.
