Very sad, came to post it.

You wouldn't imagine it could be that bad from the action...

True... but an impact like that is unpredictable.

A friend of mine who plays in the Maltese 2nd tier once told me how he was pushed and with his knee he hit his gk in the chin.
The keeper couldn't move and stayed like that almost a whole month.

I forgot to say it, but Iraqi Baghdad-based Air Force Sports Club has won the AFC Cup for the second year in a row. I'm very proud of them doing so...

For 70 years has Jerusalem been awaiting international recognition, until President Donald Trump, in a courageous move, recognized Jerusalem as the eternal capital of Israel. President Trump has shown courage, and true love of the Israeli people and their capital, and these days other countries are following his lead in giving Jerusalem its rightful status.
The football club Beitar Jerusalem, one of the most prominent symbols of the city, are happy to honor the President for his love and support with a gesture of our own. The chairmen of the club, the owner Eli Tabib and the executive manager Eli Ohana have decided to add to the club's title the name of the American President who made history, and from now on will be called Beitar Trump Jerusalem. [source]

First Palestinian born in Gaza to play in Europe... https://www.timesofmalta.com/mobile/art ... ium=widget

The international speaks about the plight he as a footballer has to endure under the occupiers, although compared to other things his ppl have been suffering it is just a small hiccup

What i find more about him..

'I have huge respect for Demba Ba. He was the star at Newcastle and played second fiddle to his friend Papisse Cisse who he told the manager to buy. Imagine that you are scoring lots of goals and paid a lot to do it and you go tell your manager get a guy who plays in the same position as me. Demba Ba ended up playing on the right wing.

Nobody does that for a friend. Nobody.'

Respect for this guy.

New fun fact: Sunil Chhetri has scored more goals at international level than Messi (only behind CR7 amongst active footballers. Forgot the real numbers).
