Think he leaves the door extra open bc of a potential new coach might be a mismatch.

The phrase "I am very happy with [insert team here] but in football anything can happen" is the first thing the players learn in football school.

No. Football Espana read BayernForum.com.

Anyway "Having joined Bayern in 2013, the midfielder thrived under Pep Guardiola but a report in El Mundo Deportivo states he is not happy under new Coach Jupp Heynckes, who replaced Carlo Ancelotti last year."

Seriously? I bet he's met up with the club doctors more often than with Jupp Heynckes since Heynckes' appointment.

I'd rather lose Thiago than Vidal.

- He would net much more money (for a WC winger)
- He is more easily replaced of the 2
- Bayern is used to not having him in the lineup anyway with all the injuries

I'm fine with him leaving. We can cash him around 100m easily.

If we do this, 100% no doubt Uli and Kalle have to leave. This would be Manchester United level idiocy.

I too would back a 100m sale of Thiago. That's a lot of money for a player you can't rely on, or build a team around, due to the amount of time he consistently spends out injured.

1.If the sale fee is right and the midfield gets the proper re-enforcement, I wouldn't mind at all when Thiago came at the same age back then he was inferior to Goretzka as a player and brand name.

2.There is no way Thiago leaves for more than €70m and especially for Barca. If they want to sell him, they will ask for 50-60m tops.

Nevertheless I don't believe that this rumor has truth in it I can see that happening only if we win everything or the CL & Bundesliga, then Thiago might ask himself for it since he won everything in his 4-year spell and Bayern made a win-transfer and can sale for profit while being on top.

That's very right Achilles. They'd say we sold Kroos for 30m or so, and Thiago is more injury prone, so let's ask Barcelona for a one year loan of 5m with a buy clause of 15m.

Different circumstances the one was a break-up with 1-year left in his contract and the latter with a max contract remaining having perfect relationships. Kroos sale was inevitable since the negotiations didn't flourish, Thiago's -hypothetically- will be a mutual good-bye, we won't stand as an obstacle and will ask for a high reasonable price since he did develop into a better player than he came.

Still though I think that we won't sell him until we reach our goals with him, I don't see a reason for both parties to separate their ways but Thiago should not consider himself untouchable nor his "fans" an almighty midfielder because he ain't that clearly. For an absurd price though(more than €80m) I personally would consider a sale, we can sign an upgrade.

Thiago's comeback to Barca will come up every summer with Iniesta fading, it's normal and I'm sure someday will happen but not so fast.
