Are you talking about the real Coman or the user here? :P :D

Well, I assume it means he's staying for at least one more year (how long is his contract running? 2018?)... Doesn't make sense to talk about later years now - a lot can happen in this sport...

2019 ;)

He's been saying he's staying ever since Pep announced he's leaving...but it's good that he's saying it again, bc things could have changed.

I love this kid. I re-watched a bit of the Pokal game the other day and noticed that at a certain point he makes an important block to a, what could have been, big counter attack. After the block you can hear him shout something along the lines of '**** yeah' (i.e. a clear celebration). I love that!

I like his passion, team spirit, and dedication. Please more of that, kiddo [-o<

Yeah, that was after he blocked Reus from going through from the edge of the box. Thiago has a lot of passion in him, something you don't always see in players nowadays.

He just said 'next season'. I didn't like that.

The season just ended. I think what he is trying to say is have a good since and I'm looking forward to starting training again.

Just a rehash of the going rumors, IMO. Nothing new in there.

what I would like about dealing with city.... you can pretty much force them to pay 150% of the player's transfer market value

I like Thiago... he's not my first choice to start next year (I'm hoping for more Javi in the MF).... I want to see alot of Vidal, Javi, and Sanches in the 2 CM spots (assuming we play with 4 attacking type players).... plus we'd still have Alonso and Kimmich (I'm hoping they move him RB however)

plus they'd have a huge chunk of money to reinvest in the market and grab another MF

I'm not saying they should dump him.... but if they get an offer they cant refuse, I'd be willing to take it and reinvest that money

If better quality is found to replace I wouldn't have much to complain about but with him recently signing the extension I doubt he leaves any time soon.

I doubt he leaves either.... but its a rare circumstance.... one of Pep's handpicked choices at a club that will overpay for everyone

I like Thiago as a player... I dont love him and think he should be untouchable.... i woudlnt look to sell him.... but if City horribly overpaid for him, I'd be more than happy to let him go and sign a replacement & probably make a profit

Thiago's father on Radio Barcelona today:

It's clear though, that despite Pep Guardiola leaving, Thiago is comfortable at Bayern Munich. "We can't think of being sad or happy, we are professionals. He's a Bayern player and he's content and happy to be at a club where he's working well. He's renewed his contract and is very happy there."

But also:

"I hope that one day Thiago can return to Barcelona," he said. "He's a player with Barcelona DNA, that he has had since his formation here, and you never know. The football world has many twists. The doors are always open to eveything and who knows if one day we will be able to have the two of them here together again. There's no resentment, the opposite, we are grateful to Barcelona for their actions."
