How much truth is it that Pep can just take thiago with him if he leaves? Pep cant decide that?

Really want thiago for a long time in Bayern FFS

None. Thiago might give him a ride to the airport though.

Dad says he wants Bayern to offer him a new contract. That's important. He's also learned some German. The Spanish league is in the midst of a strike so these are all factors to consider. United doesn't seem to be able to recoup properly and Thiago knows by now he's not only a key player but rather admired on well on his way to a deserved renewal. I'd say the chances of him renewing are pretty good.

I expect a new deal this summer. It's of great importance to extend with Thiago and build our game around him.

Also pretty good vibes coming from his father regarding an extension. I always thought Thiago would be a Bayern player for a few years then move on, but maybe he will surprise me? Would be so great to have him sign an extension!!

I think part of the reason why some of us want Kevin to come here in 2016 is because we suspect Thiago will leave and Gotze will continue to underperform. That, or we'd have to use him as a wide midfielder in a 4-4-2

I don't think Thiago will leave, he's not going to follow Guardiola all over the world if he keeps changing his clubs every 2-3 years. But Gotze might underperform again, and Robben is not getting any younger either. I love what Douglas Costa has brought to us, but is he a "world class talent"? I am not sure. We need to inject some youth and talent to our frontline soon and KdB fits the bill.

Club still hasn't started with contract talks, y'know... What are they waiting? 2017 is very close. Either we'll sell Thiago in summer 2016 or he will leave in summer 2017 on a free transfer. How much important Thiago is to Bayern board?

I don't see any articles about new contract, only the stories where Thiago will follow when/if Guardiola leaves Bayern.

Maybe my question still stands - Is Thiago FC Bayern player or Guardiola's player? The board doesn't show any signals.

The answer on that question will be a new contract or departure.

It doesn't make any sense to renew a player who never really played.
Bayern will wait to see if Thiago performs well this season before preparing a contract extension.

But if he leaves in 2016, one year after his contract runs down, he'll leave for a lower fee than the one we payed for him, while in another situation, if he has 3 years left or something, you can milk Pep's next club for 60m euros or something

Why are you so sure that Thiago will follow Pep wherever he goes? I have never read this information nowhere in the medias, nor in any interview. You create extrapolations out of thin air, and you start developing theories without any beginning of facts.

I also find it strange why people think he'll leave with Pep wherever he goes. I understand they have a bond but do you think he'd go to Qatar with Pep? I don't think so.
