I don't understand this transfer but he is free so I can't complain much. As long as this means that we not renew Alonso even better.

Maybe we intend to play with a proper DM next season? Rudy as Javi's backup? Don't like it unless it's a 41212

Lewy-Müller
Thiago
Renato-Vidal
Javi (Rudy)
Alaba-Hummels-Boa(Süle)-Kimmich
Neuer

Rudy is a 0 risk transfer, yet some still complain. I like these underdogs.

No team plays like this right now.

Only Juventus but it's an Italian team without winger.

If Bayern want to play like this, they wouldn't have extend Ribéry and want to extend Robben.
Neuer - Kimmich Boateng Hummels Alaba - Goretzka Thiago James - Robben Lewandowski Coman
Ulreich - Rafinha Martinez Süle Bernat - Tolisso Rudy Sanches - Müller/Gnabry Wagner Ribéry

I know. But then what are we gonna do with 50 MFs, 2 WC but old wingers and 2 regular ones? This signing doesn't make sense from our squad planning POV if we intend to play 4231. We should buy a WC winger...

We should wait the end of summer to understand all this.

Maybe Lahm will stop and Kimmich be RB starter
Maybe Alonso will leave.

All that's would mean Rudy, Thiago, Vidal, Sanches as our only MF.

yes he is, I wonder what would be his role? if Bayern signing him as aright back why not go for a young prospect instead?

Exactly, if Alonso doesn't get a renewal [-o< And one of Thiago or Vidal gets injured for a long stretch [-X that leaves Renato or Kimmich starting every game. I don't think that they are ready for that yet, definitely need plenty of playing time but big games are risky. I love both of them but having an experienced rotational player who's also German and coming for free is a great stop gap.

I think their condition to get Süle is to help them get rid of Rudy

Well then... I hope Xabi doesn't renew if that's the case. Still think our squad had more pressing needs elsewhere, but he's coming on a free so I guess it's fine.

Young prospects need to play, not be back ups... for example we're completely wasting Sanches right now, while playing the useless 95 year old who keeps underperforming. I rather sign a player like Rudy who will accept his role and still give 100% whenever he's asked to do it.

We already have Rafinha as a backup so, if we assume that Rudy is coming as a RB, then it means Kimmich won't get a chance there and Rudy would be the starting RB. I hope that's not the case.

0 worries about where Rudy will fit... I'd like if he turned a bargain. He's one of the signings you don't expect anything... he can't disappoint you, what's the fuss? Would like if Rudy meant bye to Alonso. He's a player who will have to earn everything here... nothing guaranteed, joined on those terms.
