--- Tolisso/Goretzka - James/Sanches ---
---------------- Thiago/Javi

Would work, I see his point.

James/Sanches on the left and Tolisso/Goretzka on the right, but yeah, I agree.

Schalke or Hoffenheim would be good destinations. Or even Dortmund.

But I hope we can cash in for him. Wouldn't make any sense loaning him or giving him away for free

According to Di Marzio, Napoli are after a midfielder to add to the squad and are going after Sebastian Rudy.

One of Rudy's entourage quoted by CalcioNapoli24: "The only thing we can say is that he has a special relationship with Ancelotti, he appreciates him, likes Napoli and vice versa. We will see what will happen after the World Cup"

We’ve gotta be the only club around that could actually benefit from selling a player to a direct competitor.
Rudy could really flourish there and strengthening another Buli club would be good long term. Just hope we can at least for once get a good return on a player lol

Oliver Mintzlaff has already denied that a couple of weeks ago. But I still think it's not impossible, he played under Rangnick in Hoffenheim already (which is why they might be ready to break the transfer rule) and Nagelsmann also seems to really like him.

Considering the rumors we're offloading the right players, at least, Vidal & Rudy are the right ones for different reasons. If we manage to get 40m combined then I'll consider it as a great deal. With Renato & Goretzka entering we replaced them very well.

Indeed Ragnick said that Rudy's transfer is impossible, will see though, think he fits in RBL but he is old for their project and style of transfers.

I don't fully agree. I think we should keep one of Vidal/Rudy. Otherwise we risk having too thin a midfield if Sanches flops again, especially if Javi is being considered for CB and Boateng is leaving.

If I had to choose two players to be gone that would be Vidal & Rudy. Even if Sanches flops again Rudy won't become any better.
Javi is a big IF for a CB but yes they way you put it Vidal would be nice to stay for depth. I don't think though that a big name like Vidal would stay calmly on the bench for Renato or Goretzka.

*If Boateng leaves,I believe we sign Pavard instantly. Vidal & Rudy are leaving,Goretzka & Renato replacements. They can't be sooo naive!

Javi and Rudy are our only two true DMF's.
St. Arnulf of Metz - Bishop & member of the court of the Frankish king Theodebert II of Austrasia. A noble, Arnulf married Doda & their son was Ansegisel. Ansegisel married Beggia, the daughter of Pepin of Landen, starting the Carolingian dynasty.
