For me, bench in Bayern will give him higher chance than in Hoff.
Wagner will have chances to prove himself in champions league, score important goals, playing with other teammate like Kimmich Hummels everyweeks.
At this point, Hoff only can offer him minutes, which is not really crucial to Wagner at this time of his career

Exactly

For me the differences between Gomez and Wagner are pretty clear

Gomez is in poor form and needs minutes to improve and earn back his spot in the NT

Wagner is already a regular with the NT and moving to a team like Bayern will make him be part of the team in big games and play next to world class players many of whom will be playing in Russia for the NT

At this point of his career, Wagner lacks experience in big games and he might get that with Bayern. He is an emergency signing, so I expect to see him playing quite often.

Playing 10 games with Bayern would do better for him than playing 30 with Hoffenheim

Wagner will be lucky if he gets few minutes in the garbage time in the CL IMO

Better to be training with the team before a CL big game than sitting on his sofa eating popcorn and watching a movie 8)

Can't see tweet? Click here!

Transfer fee is going up every day. Started with 10m, now we're talking 18.

Tactics.

We're coming off as way too desperate, aka willing to pay a lot, for a striker

Dude I could tweet something like "Bayern are hot on heels for Messi and are very close to signing him!"

Would we become geniuses then?

The "random account" is a Munich based football journalist who is quite well connected.

It will come back down to 10M if Hoff gets what they want: Gnabry's loan extended 1 more year and preference to buy a Bayern surplus for in the summer.

This is a good point, plus Wagner knows that he will not be a starter ahead of Werner so being a "supersub" for Bayern (possibly in big games as well) will align better with his role for Germany at the World Cup.

No offense Queen but he doesn't look older than 30 and he follows both 1860 and Dortmund. If his presentation card is Bundesliga Fanatic Dot Com, well, not sure how much of a journo is he. Just say'n.
