Well, your opinion doesn't really change the facts

Lewy is a Bayern and Bundesliga legend and also he came for free. I wouldn't say he falls into the category of failure

No, by that measure the vast majority of all players who EVER played for Bayern are failures. There's been approximately 100 players who have won the Champions League/European Cup in Bayern's history. And that's counting every single first team player on those CL-winning squads. Realistically probably 1/4th didn't even play a CL minute.
We've had about 40 World Cup winning players. But about 15 of them or so also won the UCL with Bayern.
Which means we've had either ~125 *unique* players who won either the UCL/European Cup OR the World Cup....or if you want to look at it the other way, there's about 15 players of our players who have won both.
On the whole....probably 90% of Bayern players ever (probably higher than that) are "failures" by that measure.

100? Try 60...

Still, he’s not a failure, but a disappointment...

I am not sure how fair this statement is. Werner is 23, at 23 Lewandowski was playing his 2nd BL Season, 2011-12 was actually his breakthrough season with 22 goals. Similarly, Werner already had a season with 21 goals at 23, in the last two he does not play as CF, instead he plays as a free floater, on the back of Poulsen or breaking on the wings. This is comparing apples to oranges.

Stats could be misleading but if you look at the overall numbers for both at 23, Lewa had 98 goals in 184 League games while Tymo has 46 in 86 games, a kind of similar numbers, a goal every two games but most of Lewa's career at that point had been in the Polish Football, not only in the Ekstraklasa which is below 2.Bundesliga, but also in the Polish I and II Leagues that are amateur football level in Germany.

The total for Werner's last 6 season used for comparison are the total of 6 BL seasons with Stuttgart and Leipzig. I do not count the Cup games, or even games in Europe because these competitions then dilute or thicken even more the case for one or the other.

In summary, I consider Lewandowski one of the best central strikers in the world, a rare breed of players that we see less and less in the modern game. When in comes to his detractors, there is some truth on that, he has under performed for us in the big games, same goes to other world class players that we have in our team (Thiago, James) it is ironic how I read all the time how they are among the top 3 in their position in the world but at the same time I read excuses about Lewa not having good service to deliver in big games. If we add 2 + 2 = that they did not deliver in the big games. That is a fact.

Werner is certainly not a CF and he is not a natural finisher, he is still rough around the edges, very similar to Gnabry or Coman but he has a lot of speed and engine. I wouldn't mind having him at Bayern as a 2nd striker-free floater. If the coach knows how to utilize him he can produce, I would actually argue that a player like Werner is the kind of player that an aging Lewandowski needs to perform well the next 2-3 seasons.

Shaming one of the best striker on the world who also has the second best goals/games ratio in Bayern history after Muller(with guys over 1(!!) goal) is disrespectful..

How dare you expect CL title with ex-prisoner Uli Hoennes???
Actually, I firmly hope RL9 leaves mediocre FCB to RM this coming summer...

So you’re a fanboy of Lewandowski? You don’t really care where he plays?

That’s a ban for sure.

Wrong forum, buddy. We don't want Lewandowski ass-kissers here.

Hope he leaves... Would give us enough money to buy someone who can finish at least one in three one on ones instead of none in 500
