Lewy is a Bayern player. Bayern as a club could offer Lewy to Real, but not his agent.

Well, you can.

Say you're employed on a definite contract for a couple of more years. There's nothing stopping you sending your CV to another company; the latter would, of course, need to finance the transfer.

That's true

But in this case Bayern should be willing to sell the player. Otherwise it wouldn't make any sense

Agent- Hey Real, would you like to sign Lewy in summer? 8)
Real - Sure
Agent- Ok, now you need to talk to Bayern
Real - Hey Bayern, we would like to show interest on Robert Lewandowski :coffee:
Bayern - He is not for sale
Real - OK bye

Well let's bring a practical example from just over a decade ago.

Man Utd - Hey Bayern, we would like to buy Owen Hargreaves :coffee:
Bayern - He is not for sale
Hargreaves - Please, Bayern, please! Please! Please!
Bayern - No.
Hargreaves - Pleeeeeeaaaaase!
Bayern - No.
Man Utd - Come on Bayern, kid wants to play for us
Hargreaves - PLEEEAAAASE it's my biggest dream!
Bayern - No.

*Hargreaves gets injured*

Bayern - OK, we want €25m
Man Utd - Deal!
Hargreaves - WOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOO!

That was not the first time hargreaves got injured did he?

More importantly, it definitely wasn't the last

Anyway, my point is that if Lewandowski wants to force his move, he will get his way. No use keeping a disgruntled key member in the squad as it is harmful for the dressing room. We could Watzke him and send him to the stands, or we could cash in on him (also called a Watzke) and get a decent replacement (this is not a Watzke).

When was the last time Bayern kept a player against his will? In recent times, Douglas Costa and Benatia who were unsettled were allowed to leave. Before that we had Schweinsteiger.

Bastian has always been a model vice captain. Ribery, also against Madrid.

Lame argument MUTU.
They were unwanted players and not starters. Question should be for a superstar or starter player at his peak who forced a transfer or got one when he wanted, we have to go 10+ years back to Hargreaves and Man.United deal... In which deal If recall correctly Bayern demanded from Hargreaves to stay another more year and then to be sold and he agreed.

Ribéry, as far as I know, didn't plead to leave. The only ones we know for sure pleaded were Hargreaves and Benatia, and both of them left, despite us needing both in their respective times. Benatia is currently playing better than Boateng and at very least as well as Hummels.

LOL at Spanish Sports media. Those guys make stories out of their ass! Super Unreliable

Also this is the same old example of Real/Barca tapping players from other teams and trying to unsettle them. Can’t decide which one of those two is the bigger scum

I do believe that Lewa would be interested.
I don't know why some of us are making a drama out of it... he is 29 & Real would be making us a favor...

We can you use their money present on a younger striker.
