We need ONE MORE striker, unless you want Pizarro for another year... (We haven't switched to a 4-3-3 yet, have we?)

it feels wrong, getting lewa from dortmund. I mean, since guardiola decided to join bayern, they should try to attract foreign talent, why get a player from a RIVAL team, when we can get anyone, since we have the money and attractiveness. If Lewa were german, I would understand the transfer, but since he's polish, it makes no sense.

Of course we do, but just not him. And I also want both Mario's to stay

If this is true i have no idea how Pep will play all three forwards in the current single striker system, but I don't know if the board would allow Pep to quick sell Gomez right away. But if Lewandoswki is coming in then that pretty much means Mandzu will be on the bench.

It seems like Sky Italia's "source" was nothing but blogger Breitnigge fooling around. [source]

Well Agüero has scored only 9 goals, so obviously their entire forward line needs a shakeup!

Mancini operates under ridiculous logic anyway. They should've gone all out for Martinez last season, for example, considering how depressingly bad their midfield is without Yaya Toure (and he's been underperforming for a while too now). Or get one decent wingback if you want to play that three man defense. But no, strikers. ALL THE STRIKERS.

Well, Mancini has been saying over the past year that his striking department is lacking. Ever since he failed in luring RvP, he's been nagging about getting a striker.

They're playing the hopeful card rather than look like complete fools. Worst case scenario for them, it's just another rumour that failed to happen for whatever reason.

Yeah, pretty much looks like it. Like I said earlier, throw everything to the wall and hope it sticks.

That's not a very convincing denial from Dortmund now, is it? They only claim to not know whether he may or may not be dealing with Bayern.
