Rabiot + 10-15M for Sanches.

Just a loan for 6 months. Get him back and sell him after.

It's an interesting proposition. Sanches' recent comments are a bit odd to me but I think that even though Kovac's been giving him more chances - credit where credit is due - I think we can also admit this is probably also at least partially due to Tolisso big injury. I think once Tolisso is back, Sanches is back to 4th choice at best, even if Rabiot isn't here. And I like Sanches just fine and want to see him succeed, but Rabiot or not there is still not a particularly clear path.
Of course he is just 21, still quite young, but I think at some point players reach a phase where they just want to be settled in with a team. Does he see Bayern in his long-term plans still, provided he can play at the requisite level? Would he be amenable to going out on loan? He is still under contract until 2021, so he could easily go out for a season or season-and-a-half no problem. But like I said: sometimes I think players reach an age or development where they're just not interested in loans any longer, they just want first-team football with "their" club.

Still...if Sanches would be open to it, that could be a good path for all parties. Send Sanches out on loan - to a better club than Swansea! - and pick up Rabiot for cheap, along with sell Martinez in summer. Then you have just Thiago, Goretzka, Tolisso, and Rabiot in contention for a couple of midfield spots, really, which isn't so bad then. Play it out for a year, eighteen months, see where you're at then when Sanches returns and who you think has a future with Bayern and who you want to sell elsewhere. But I don't know, it would take a lot of things going the right way for it all to come together really well, I think

I can see Tuchel being interested in Renato. And I wouldn't be surprised to see him playing in different positions with a tactically flexible coach like him

For some reason I feel like Renato could become a great player, but not in Munich. He needs good coaching. Someone who can develop players, like Tuchel or Pep.

He has been really unlucky here with Ancelotti and Kovac.

He is already a good player... if it is as you say he only got two options as according to your post there are only two good managers.

On the other hand I can see him be a starter with us, Athletico, Juve, Liverpool ... etc
If he is given the chance he will be on par with Kante.
We have a jewel and we are not aware of.

Shame...

I mentioned Tuchel and Pep becuase they are the best examples. But there are others like Klopp.

You don't develop a talented midfielder just by giving him playing time. Otherwise we could all be coaches.

And not only Renato. I fear Goretzka might be in the same situation

I kinda of gave up on him after this season. It was his chance to turn it around and he hasn't. I know Kovac doesn't help but still...

Would much rather have some of the players we are linked with. Would also rather give playing time to Goretzka nd Tolisso than him.

Kovac didn't help? Kovac helped stabilize Sanches.
I really have no hope for Sanches anymore.
