Right, so about 7th at best...and this assumes Rudy leaves (who seems to think he's not gonna) and don't forget Goretzka. So in reality somewhere around 8th choice for four spots...like I said, he will have to hope Kovac REALLY likes rotating his midfield...

Seems like a move to circle the wagons, get his head on straight again and regain confidence. I remember back to before he was loaned and he seemed really involved in the team hangouts. Seemed to really eat up being part of FC Bayern

Separately, there are also rumors he could return to Benfica on loan: http://tribunaexpresso.pt/revista-de-im ... ssar-a-Luz

Bayern are in very advanced talks with Benfica to send Renato Sanches on a one year loan to the Portuguese club. Sanches wants to make the move. The only problem remaining is that Bayern are refusing to pay any part of his salary during his loan [A Bola]

Yes, but it's OK to pay 12M for Ribéry.

Footballleaks. They may have been the gross ones.

After all, even if they were - it's not going to be under 9M.

It doesn't make sense to loan him back to Benfica if we intend to keep him long term.
If any thing loan him to Eintracht since they are playing in Europe...

He seems to be so screwed up (confidence wise) to the point he needs to return to his home country

Kicker | Renato Sanches is set to return to Bayern this summer, after Benfica refused to pay a loan fee.

And that is how it should be, back with us. He was going back in his comfort zone, if he really wants to succeed he has to forget home

I am still unsure on Kovac, but Sanches seems like the type of player he would like. Hopefully he gets a fair crack. For me it's clear that his biggest issues are purely mental. One of my friends was telling me how he saw Sanches at multiple training sessions and he was an absolute monster, looked like the best player on the whole squad. Paul Clement said the same thing, that in training he was just unreal, freak of nature type thing...but then he gets in games and just starts making bad decisions and compounding them. If he can get a good run of "safe" games just to get his head back on straight, there's still hope yet IMO. Tiny chance - TINY - but I don't think he's 100% guaranteed ruined.

While Rummenigge and some media said Sanches doesn't give everything in training and was not serious ... :|
