If it’s true Sané’s getting the 10 he’ll have to change for sure.

More like #76, that would make him almost as relevant as Tymoshchuk #44.

I know you're joking but I don't think the rules allow us to have a shirt number that's high. I forgot the exact limit but it's somewhere around 50.

I am under the impression that if Sane comes he will get No.7

We will make an exception for Coutinho, wait a minute, I believe that we made one already when we gave him No.10.

I assume you mean Bundesliga?

Now you made me curious. Hypothetically can a player wear a different number in different competitions?

I agree it suits him better, but it was reported/rumoured earlier today or yesterday that he’s been offered the #10.

It seems highly unlikely he’ll take a massive wage cut appropriate to what he’s shown for us, so no thanks. If somehow that does happen he can stay though.

His wages can be used for two new players

This. He'd need to at least half his salary. We can't afford to pay him, every year, the same amount of money we paid for the transfers of Ribery and Robben.

More likely a third... And also his transfer fee should be less than a third... No use in paying 40m plus for a bench player again...
