And that's exactly why I'm still telling that we should sign him no matter what. Mino Raiola wants money, not some Robaralona stories and so on.

We can meet both the asking price and player's demands. It's up to our board to make it so.

IsiahRashad wrote:Not bringing him is going to be the biggest mistake this summer. As my friend General said before me, bring him and Pépé and it will be a great summer for us.

Matthijs should be a target no. 1 right now and everything or everyone else in that place would be wrong.

Seeing him and Pépé at Bayern this summer is something that puts us in a much better position for the next summer to continue with an overhaul.

After all, I can wait one more year to watch this Bayern if that's gonna mean signing in January both Callum Hudson-Odoi and Werner for beautiful, nice and round ZERO euros in summer 2020.

With all due respect to Lucas and Pavard, but it's deals like this that can REALLY show how dead serious we are in the market.

It's great start with both of the guys, especially Lucas.
But it's not enough. Almost every year when we bring some good players, we buy average guys 2 weeks later.

I am still surprised we paid that much for that Lucas. But my point is, did anyone say: "Oh ****, Bayern just snatched that player we REALLY wanted?" No. With de Ligt, we will piss some poeple off and show them what's up. You dig?

just a side note - signing de Ligt would be incredible, and would certainly have that "f you" factor to other teams... but let's not act like Lucas is nothing. He's also an incredible signing that will have a big impact. that being said, there isroom for both here...

Which is exactly why it’s not happening... We're not
- Rangnick or ten Hag in!
- Bring a DM, a winger (Sané) and Havertz!
- Get a REAL sports director (Rangnick?)!
- Keep Hoeness and Rummenigge far away from the team!

You mean like Arp, Pavard and Werner on ine end and Lucas (who remains a question mark) on the other?

I accept a lot of your theories, but you're wrong about Lucas being a question mark. Dude is putting a World class performance week in and week out. The only way that we could **** up with him is not to manage his injuries (when they happen)..

Arp is a flop, no question about it.

Personally I'm OK with Werner for the right amount of money, as long as he's not blocking some other transfer. It's best to get for free next year, but it's unlikely to happen.

Pavard is still not a WC player, but he's better than everything that we've got at the moment. He played out of position for the first time in 1 year to win the World Cup with France, and he's much better with good midfielders in front of him. Still, with great profile - he's the guy who's going to make "the pass" /like Boateng and his long passing in his prime/, we're missing that at the moment.

I'm not worried about him, I'm worried about Sule.

I dift.

You're following him and Atletico in the last years, right? Do you know how many times he didn't want to put the Real jersey on? Manchester's offer was not accepted for him by Atlético last year. In 2017 before his renewal there were a ton of speculations about him going to City or Barça.

They didn't have time to act surprised, because we somehow did the deal out of nothing.. For once.
