This is the 3rd golden generation of the team - the team from the 70s is one of the greatest teams in the history of the game - Johan Cruyff,Piet Keizer, Johan "the second" Neeskens, Ruud Krol and the other legendary players.. The second golden generation was in the 90's and especially the team from the 94-95 with van der Sar, Davids, Blind, Rijkard, Kluivert, de Boer brothers, Seedorf... And now, the 3rd one - de Ligt, Onana, Tagliafico, de Jong, van de Beek, Neres, Ziyech..

They move on when they get too good and consistent for the Eredivisie and Ajax paychecks. It will only be a golden generation in the sense that in a couple of years people can look at players who used to play at Ajax, and say "that would be quite a team if they stayed at Ajax". It's a win-win status for both teams.

This guy God knows what time showed that he is not a joking and it's better to push hard, bother Raiola and find a way to bring him to München.

Uli, pay another 80 million € for Mathijs de Ligt and sign Pépé and you're done for this summer.
It doesn't matter if we can't or won't sign Jović this summer and Hudson-Odoi. There's always next year and next summer where the young English talent can come for free.

Spend that money you completely forgot to spend in 2016, 2017 and especially 2018.

If we have ANY chance of bringing in this player, we should take it.
I dont care if we only get Werner or Pepe for offense.
This could be the signing of a lifetime. If we can pay 80m for Lucas, then we can surely pay 70-80m for this guy.

However I find interesting that nobody has mentioned his defensive error that led to Ronaldo's goal. Hadn't he pushed his own teammate to the ground, Ronaldo would have mostly not have scored that header.

I would trade Sule and cash for him.

Ps - MUTU, add one week vacation in Malta for free, maybe they will think about it!

Not bringing him is going to be the biggest mistake this summer. As my friend General said before me, bring him and Pépé and it will be a great summer for us.
