Makes a lot of sense since we want him to have quality AND depth on the wing... NOT

Coutinho's potential signature cannot stop us from signing Havertz, both will be helpful and bring us the depth we need. Sané, Coutinho and Havertz is viable as we have been saving money for years, we have not spent money in the summer of 2019, now is the time to spend on world stars to take Robbery's place. Gnabry, Coman, Coutinho, Sané, Havertz and Muller would be the perfect mix, two options for each attack position. If the manager rotates the players we will have no problems, it would be a healthy dispute. Especially thinking of Muller 30 years and Coutinho 28, soon the two will not be useful anymore.

ROFL, players at 28 and 30 deemed not useful anymore.

Hilarious.

I don't want to be that guy, but Coutinho just turned 27 couple of months ago. And Muller turned 30 month ago.

While Cristiano, Messi and Lewandowski are planing to play on top level at the age of 37-38, we witness how in case of all other players who are aged between 26-32 are junk over the last 6-7 years and even considered to be something what used to be players in the past between 33-37 - veterans.

Spoiler: show
The main problem in today's football is a complete distortion of perception. #-o Müller and Coutinho are in their best football years. Problem is, Müller hasn't been improving for the last 3 years but quite the opposite and that's really pity. Coutinho lost himself because he changed Liverpool for Barcelona and now he's paying the price to find himself once again somewhere, but he still has 5-6 years left to play on top level.
Money is corrupting the quality of the game and that's the cancer of football over the last 6-7 years, football has reached the maximum level of saturation.

Zidane was a synonym for transfer revolution in the new millennium when R. Madrid had made him the most expensive player ever at the age of 29! Certainly it wasn't at 19, 21 or 23. The Frenchman played 5 years in Madrid and they wanted him not to retire, but he decided to say when it's enough for him.

So while I completely agree that young Germans Sané and Havertz are great prospects and very bright future of FC Bayern, I can't say that Coutinho, in case he shines this season, isn't that. The Brazilian would be also great player and of course that I expect in that case from him to shine up to his 35th birthday. It would be stupid not to think in that way.

It WOULD, because Coutinho is earning like 8m more than our biggest earner... He's far from being our best player though...

Stay calm, when he signs a permanent contract with us next year, his salary will be reduced. If you want to bring good and world class players - you have to pay big salaries, right ?

It's ridiculous to see Coutinho's name in every thread. Why it's so hard to accept that he's currently our starting AM and that he's of course not far away from our best player. Oddly enough, he's probably one of the few players from our team for who the argument "rating from whoscored" is not used. In fact, Lewandowski is the player with highest whoscored rating in the top 5 leagues so far with a score of 8.28 and Coutinho is second with 7.53 (in Bayern).

It's great that we have the Bayernforum logo on the top, because some of the people reading here will think that we're a middle-table team who doesn't pay a big money for players, and we're not a definetely a top 5 earner in the last 5 years.

Guys, you whine more than my nephew, and he's still a baby.

Because it doesn’t show! Because you people got some homoerotic vibe going with the guy that lacks any kind of rationale... He had two decent games at best against fucking relegation candidates and people act like it's "world class" and whatnot... Fuck that, James had WAY better games against WAY better opposition for WAY less money!

F A C T !

So yeah, it’s not about Müller or anything, it’s simply a pretty obvious observation... I am for signing an AM... But so far? Not him...

Also, your claim is ridiculous... Only reason he’s here is that insane salary and now you think he'll pass on it? Pure logic

Right, but all I'm saying is - wait for the end of the season. He started 5 games so far this season and scored 2 times while assisting 3, taking the man of the match award 2 times.

The team played 1/7 of the games for the season and it is wrong to say that he proved ONLY against X,Y,Z, because, well yes, these are the teams we have played against so far.

And again, his salary is not the ONLY reason for him playing in Bayern.
The main reason why he's here is all the comments from the team leaders - Lewandowski, Neuer, Thiago and Kimmich that the team needs a star player:

You believe that?

If I get an offer from another company it doesn’t exactly bode well for them when their employees cry about staff shortage and being on the fall...

Too little too late. If we do get Sané there is no guarantee he’ll ever be the same player after an ACL injury.

Also getting him now would mean having another player with knee issues in the Bayern roster (the other being Tolisso, Hernandez and Süle)
