I can already see Ramos bitching how Varane is the best choice to Perez XD

He also wouldn't start over the duo Piquè-Umtiti

Off to England imo

Jérôme Boateng

If Guardiola wants him we should get 70 at least...
PSG 75

By the by: rejuvenation efforts by the board, and I think deLight is a great prospect... But WHY DAFOOK are we offloading a 29yo still relatively fast defender who can play at the highest level but extending TWO 35yo slow and non-dangerous wingers who cannot make the difference against Frankfurt anymore?? F U C K!!!

There are cheap alternatives for the 29yo, but not for the 35yos. ;)

I am pretty sure Robbery will play a part time role next season (like Mertesacker at Arsenal in 17-18). I real don’t have a problem with Robben and Ribery being used as rotation/sub players.

Offloading Boateng and getting De Ligt would be some great transfer business!

Yup, a top U-21 talent that has already been proven in Europe would be a transfer to be proud of.

Then why do we want 60m? For 60m you can get two wingers that are both better than 70yo Robbery...

Umtiti is a disaster.. I'm sure if Boa would be able to stay healthy for a longer period, he would regain most of his WC form..

Boateng is not doing anything to raise his stock during these two games. Now he's suspended for the third game. If he's trying to impress other clubs, it's not going well. Hopefully Germany will reach the last 16 and he'll be back in the lineup. I'm not sure he'll be happy to return to Bayern after the World Cup after Kalle's comments.

I think that's a bit unfair. I had very little clue about Boateng and he became a favourite back in Africa 2010. He was voted the second best player vs Argentina in 2014. Saying that he is trying to impress anyone at this stage of his career is a bit unfair imho.

Of course he's achieved a lot in his career so far and is known as one of the premier CB in today's game. What I'm trying to say is that the World Cup is and always will be a window for players to show their talent. Some show that they are top class players and some show that they still are top class players. If the reports are true, then Boateng must be trying to show that he is still the premier CB he was/is. I think he's out of shape right now and he has returned too early from his injury. I'm sure he would still be sidelined if it wasn't the World Cup.

Boateng or De Ligt.

Any other player would be disapointing.
Neuer (Ulreich)
Kimmich (Rafinha) - Boateng (Süle) - Hummels (Süle) - Alaba (Rafinha)
James (Müller) - Thiago (Martinez) - Goretzka (Sanches)
Robben (Gnabry) - Lewandowski (Wagner) - Coman (Ribéry)

PSG and their new manager Thomas Tuchel have big interest in signing Bayern Munich defender Jérôme Boateng. (Source: BILD)
