I was like, wtf kind of description is that "German-born of Ghanaian descent" until I clicked the link and realized it was ghanasoccernet. In that case I guess they want to make the story relevant to their viewership

I'm surprised Carlo lasted as long as he did, when some of our core players were thinking of leaving bc of him...Wonder which clubs actually made a bid.

Well maybe not 100% :P

But it was reported everywhere that Conte asked for Boateng, and in the end they signed Ruediger, so I guess we turned down whatever their offer was

it's quite normal for him asking to the MGT what they think about him, considering we signed also Süle and Martinez was Carlo's first choice over him.

Bayern should be looking to cash in on Boateng while they still can.

I know this sounds blasphemous but he has never been the same player after Messi ruined him in 2015. On days he can be a beast in Defense but he has becomes error prone in the last two years and much more injury prone than he ever was before.

Mai and Gotze ought to be either promoted to the first team or go on loan to make them better players. Sadly the Time to look beyond Boateng has come earlier than expected.

It's not blasphemous. Boateng has never been reliable in the sense that he messes up when you least expect him to.

Well, sounds like a lot of people may get their wish:

"Ich habe beim FC Bayern alles erlebt. Und so komme ich langsam an den Punkt, an dem ich gewisse Fragen für mich beantworten muss: Was sind meine noch nicht erreichten Ziele?", sagte der Weltmeister dem Sokratis Magazin. "Möchte ich mich immer wieder beim gleichen Klub mit den gleichen Voraussetzungen beweisen?"

Interview today with Boateng... unfortunately sounds like he's heading for the exit...

Exit this summer or not, he's been a special servant for Bayern and deserves a standing ovation when he leaves.
