Neither we can change anything regarding Bundesliga that has completely collapsed for the last 4 years. In fact, the league has never been sky high as they have been Premier League and La Liga, even Serie A.

In the league lies the whole problem and unfortunately for us, nothing's gonna change about it in the near future.

Agreed.

No one here is happy with "just" winning the budnesliga. Everyone thinks Bayern is under-performing even though we make semis of CL every year. Are these realistic expectations of fans for ANY club? No.

Our perceptions as FCB fans is completely skewed. It's not our fault, it's not the board's fault, it is the league's fault. As long as the league is weak, the Bundesliga is devalued in our eyes and all we care about is the CL (Which is VERY VERY difficult to win) and everything apart from the CL is seen as "lack of ambition" or "failure of the board" When on EVERY SINGLE metric the board is doing fantastically well.

OH FOR ****'S SAKE!!!

WE ARE NOT reching the semis every year!!!

We played Besiktas and Sevilla FOR CRYING OUT LOUD... Every mediocre Serie A club would've done that...

The board SUCKS TUSHY! They are going to sell him and not get a replacement... How on earth is that good...

Also, Pavard is staying in Stuttgart another year, which has been well known for days now...

A common theme developing? Especially not good for a club on a budget

Bayern is the only club expected to treble every season. I think Juventus is the closest club to such expectations. We are officially at the 5 year mark since the last UCL crown. Desperation is setting in at the club.

Niko Kovac on Boateng's rumours: "As of now, he will travel with us to Frankfurt. He is fit and is an option for the game. What will happen next, I don't know"

Winning CL has never been as easy as recently... We'll see about the semis soon when the first real opponent is game over... As always...

According to AZ, it is just a matter of time till Bayern and PSG agree on a fee.
If Boateng leaves, Pavard shall come this year already. We would be willing to pay an additional 10-15 Million €, Pavard agreed to come next year at the latest (for €35m)

Some good news

So they have their senses, great news at least we're getting a decent replacement.
If that Ivan Rakitic rumor becomes true then I'll be very satisfied.

I read this one
that we might go for Rakitic [source]
which is not extremely out of our reach since he is a Croat(Kovac) he knows the league and top class. Personally I like Ivan Rakitic very much as a player, very versatile and at his 30 if he might ask for a transfer he won't be too expensive. He can deliver top class football in Munich for 2-years at least and can help the young midfielders to develop.
As for Boateng-Pavard, I'm fine selling Boateng only if we get a proper replacement.

We have 8 midfielders if we count Müller. What the point with Rakitic ?

Pavard is nowhere near Boateng level, even his level in the last season. It's a "good" replacement" but Bayern deserve bigger potential player imo.
Neuer (Ulreich)
Kimmich (Rafinha) - Boateng (Süle) - Hummels (Süle) - Alaba (Rafinha)
James (Müller) - Thiago (Martinez) - Goretzka (Sanches)
Robben (Gnabry) - Lewandowski (Wagner) - Coman (Ribéry)

Sell an established, although slightly injury-ridden WC player for what we can assume will be a peanuts-ripoff and get a guy as replacement, who hasn’t played a single minute of CL soccer and couldn’t even make it into CB in his own NT - probably by adding a huge chunk of money to the amount a sale generates... Yeah you’re right, great deal!
