I have a feeling that if Bayern start the season badly, like 2009/10, they will splash the cash.

Martinez's misses is a darling!

A definite plus to see her in a Bayern shirt beside Mrs Schweinsteiger!

Same stuff
Heynckes still interested and the only thing blocking is the 40 million transfer fee.

I think if Terry was to join Bayern he would be making defensive mistakes on purpose LOL

Bayern still do not give up on Martinez and prefer to do something to offer because you will never just wait, wait as Bilbao never give up so I have an idea to offer 25M + Gustavo and his salary for at least 8M and certainly no club bilbao Martinez faltered, he would have been in Munich . What do you think? =P~

No way add Gustavo to that! Gustavo's got potential for us and has been pretty solid apart from the odd slip up. But that's gonna happen, he's still young!

EXACTLY!!!! I think Martinez is a great player dont get me wrong but IMO he is not worth the drama or time, everyday Bayern wait is one less day a new signing wud have time to train with the team, adjust to the Bayern system, and develop chemistry with the coaching staff and players....i want Bayern to bring in that world class b4 the start of the season so he can b ready for game day right away!!

I really don't think he's worth €40mil.

They only have Basque Country players in their squad. That's their philosophy and that's why they are admired by a lot of people out there.

Heynckes coached them a few years ago, so I guess he knows their transfer politics. I'd be surprised if he leaves for less than 35-40M. And that's too much money IMO but there are some things that make me thing about it. Heynckes, Mourinho and Tito Vilanova are in love with this player, so he must have something special

BTW when we signed Lizarazu from Athletic a long time ago I think we also payed the release clause.
