He won't play in Germany as long as he has options to play in England... then add the price.

Bayern are determined to snatch up Bale to tap into the lucrative Welsh market, which could potentially bring in hundreds of euros in commercial revenue

MoFattal wrote:I like Bale. He's an excellent player who can play anywhere up front, and always gives me the impression of being a professional and down-to-earth guy. However, as it was the case with Robben, there's a big risk due to the frequent and long-term injuries he suffers. But unlike Robben, the amount required to sign him would be tremendous. I don't think we will pay our "ceiling" price of 100m on a player with such a risk profile.

I agree. I also feel given their lack of big singings in the last year they'll be willing to offload him on a rather affordable way.

don't see Real asking much more for Bale than they did for James

I would take a gamble on his health if we could get him for 65m which we never will unfortunately.

Reus on the LW and Bale on the Right would be a dream winger combo for any team and would torment any defense in Football, just like Robbery. Alas! The two of them are too injury prone :(

There is nothing more fragile than Reus. Reus can dream of him playing in a football match and wake up in the morning with a torn ligament!!!

He is an unofficially retired player for me (sadly)

Well, there is no doubt that he is a World class player when healthy;if we can make some deal like - paying the money for James at the end of this season, because obviously they are going to buy a lot of new players (it's going to be 6.5M. for the loan of the second year and 42M. for his rights);and to make contract clauses like - X money for Y played games for Bale in 2,3 years with paying let's say..the 60 % of the initial agreed amount.

We need to be flexible in the eventual negotiations.Let's not forget that we have good transfer relationship with them.

Truth be told....I wouldn't be surprised if this happened. Not saying I think it will - but if it does, I won't be too shocked.

This is a decision for Dr. Mueler-Wohlfahrt

I would be fine with a James type deal for him. I'd say up to 60 mil with some clauses is the farthest I'd go though.
