Yes. I think they have no clue who to get.

honestly, I'm beginning to wonder.
For a while it seemed like "We're hoping for Heynckes, but if not him then we'll hire _____" (keeping it hush-hush as to who the 'fallback plan' is). Now it's starting to seem more like "we're hoping for Heynckes because we don't have another good option we can agree on at this point"

Exactly. My suspicion is that someone rejected us.

My bet is on Tuchel, he has completely vanished, nobody can find him for an interview or a simple question. Goretzka signed,Coman extended knowing the only two options: 1.Heynckes & 2.Tuchel they both agreed because the first one is the real thing and helps the youngsters and the second because he is an expert developing talents.

JN,Kovac,Hassenhutl,Jogi even Pep are not available this summer, there is nobody else out there who can speak German, being more than decent and can work with young players(rejuvenating the team) apart from Tuchel. So Tuchel it is for me. It's an acceptable option only if he leaves his problematic character in his home, that's my only question for him, if he will manage this mix of super star and young players. Tactically he is great and he fits our style of play.

Tuchel plus two big signings plus Lewandowski's stay and we're set for good IMO!

I have my share of complaints about Uli, but I have to think he and KHR will be able to hold Tuchel in check (if need be - hopefully not) better than Aki and Susi could.

Last night I watched on Sky Sports Germany post-match interview from Jupp Henyckes and the last question was about Streich at Bayern, he didn't want to say anything specific.
Now if I followed the last 1-2 comments from the journalist, he provoked him about possible stay next season, and Jupp's reaction radically changed, he turned his back and walked away, with a small turn back again and some very unpleasant reaction like: "I simply can't believe you're still asking me that, you aren't normal...".
Those negative reactions and mood from Jupp on Uli's constant attacks to stay aren't some media imaginations and stories to make a show, they are very real and I see Jupp doesn't want to deal with that nor think about staying. He wants to get his job done this season and retire and that's legit and must be respect.

Thomas Tuchel remains the favourite to replace Jupp Heynckes in the summer - Tuchel has been the desired candidate of Karl-Heinz Rummenigge for months while Hoeneß still has his doubts over the former BVB manager's character and human qualities [Bild & Sport1]

Yeah but do you SEE Kovac‘s style of play? It’s successful, but it’s neither dominant nor nice to watch...

I hope whoever the next coach is, he has to be a fluent German speaker and has decent experience as a manager.

Should approach Alonso this summer or maybe next year and offer him a coaching role with the youth side or have him in some coaching capacity.
