Nagelsmann seems to be not good enough, his team in Europa leagues got defeated too easily. Can't believe 6/6 bundesliga couldn't find a draw, serious problems. Someone needs to smack on their faces to wake them up.

Sammer will be a more realistic choice than all of them... At least he has won already one Bundesliga, know well Bayern and is respected by the dressing room and the board

It won't be any of those because we would keep Sagnol if we wanted a coach like that

Have to defend Nagelsmann here, are you aware he missed half the squad with injuries or illness last night? There were nine players missing, among them Demirbay, Amiri, Gnabry and Wagner.

About the hows and whys of Carlo's sacking, two weeks ago Honigstein explained in a podcast the problems of Ancelotti at Bayern. He's also talking about the training methods.

Concerning the player power issue, I agree that the club shouldn't give in in case players are just disgruntled because they don't start. But this is different. There are players complaining about the training methods and they feel the coach doesn't improve the players or the team. And the attitude in general. I mean, the fitness coach was caught smoking in a training session and joined by Alaba. Why shouldn't the players complain.

Great, in '11 they fired van Gaal for dropping his pants.

In '17 they fire Carletto for not having them on.

Go figure.

Regarding Nagelsmann, it seems evident that they've made a calculated decision to focus in the league, which is clever in their position. That is paying off. Despite losing their best two players to us, they have beaten us, are ahead of us in the table, and are only 2 points behind the leaders. If Nagelsmann had a squad to compete on three fronts, I'm sure he would do so well.

Still, at the moment it is likely to be Tuchel. I'm curious about who the assistants will be. They could be essential to managing the players' egos, although I'm inclined to believe the next coach won't face the same problems Carlo did.

“Carlo is a calm, balanced expert, who knows how to deal with stars and favors a multifaceted style of play,” Rummenigge said when Ancelotti’s appointment was confirmed.

I doubt Rummenigge still sees it that way now.

Terrible article. Was that the NYT?

Why not Jogi Low?We need to solve the Muller problem as a critical issue and he already knows the fix..he gives chance to youngsters ..knows our players and is highly respected.

If jogi low would be interested than by all means, but it would be unpopular. I say Tuchel is still the best choice

Low is impossible and unwise in a WC year.

Honigstein said just now that Nagelsmann is th preferred choice and the board doesn't want to committ the same mistake it did by missing out on Klopp and opting for Klinsmann instead. He said tuchel had a lot of problems with the bvb board so our board is apprehensive about him.

Few other sources are also saying that Heynckes can be brought in until the end of the season but that seems farfetched and an emergency fallback option. Though none of us would complain if it miraculously comes through shall we?
