Postby MUTU » Thu Jul 07, 2011 2:56 pm

According to French sports magazine Le 10 sport, FC Bayern are after AS Saint-Étienne's Blaise Matuidi, a 24-year old defensive midfielder of Angolan descent but who has been capped 3 times for France. He is considered a Plan B in case the transfer of Arturo Vidal falls through. Liverpool FC, Arsenal FC, Olympique Lyon, Newcastle United, Napoli and Paris Saint-Germain are said to be interested as well in the player who's value is around 13-15 million euros.

This would be a pretty stupid transfer... the whole point about getting Vidal is that he's an unique player who really wants to come here. We don't NEED a DM, but we could've used VIdal.

So I doubt a Plan B of not getting Vidal even exists. Unless it's getting another defender.

I'd really like to see Alaba getting more minutes.

Let's not deviate from the topic here. transfermarkt.de gave this rumour a 13% chance.

Not going to happen since if Vidal doesn't come then we can just use alaba and fully develop him! We can get Vidal free next year!

Well it's not really a plan anymore, it's just the way things are as of what, Tuesday?

Alaba is not playing midfield... Heynkes is making him a winger.

This could be the player who Mourinho was talking about (he assured an imminent signing)....but we are Bayern and they are Man UTD, we have our history with them and transfer :)

Me right now :

Image

For me it's impossible.

He isn't Bayern material.

Even more when we know he's going to be 30 years old and can't really progress anymore.
Even even more when we know his technical abilities are non existant.
Even even even more when we know we already have 2 box to box potential player better than him : Vidal and Renato.

As a french, I can tell you, this is certainly bs. Plus, maybe 50% of PSG fans said without any problem : "It's time to sell him if we want to progress as a team and a club". The others 50% think he is one of the 3 best in the world ... of course they only think Maxwell > Alaba and Lucas > Robben / Ribéry.

I'm serious.

This guy has a great mentality, it's a great professionnal. He gives all on the field. But that's all.

0 technical abilities. ZERO.
