Bild | Benjamin Pavard wants to stay in Stuttgart. The World champion cut his holiday short and returned to training today. Pavard and his agent held positive talks with Michael Reschke and it's now looking increasingly likely he will stay in Stuttgart this season.

I think it's a good decision from Pavard. One more season at Stuttgart would do him good IMO. Hopefully we've finalized a deal for him next summer.

We want him this summer already if Boateng leaves and are willing to add €10-15m to the €35m release clause of next year. Otherwise, he'll come in 2019.
