Alexandre Lacazette

Postby MUTU » Tue Apr 28, 2015 12:08 pm

FC Bayern are reportedly after the services of 23 year old French international forward Alexandre Lacazette, who is currently on the books of Olympique Lyonnais. Lacazette can play as a centre forward as well as on the wings, so he could be seen as a backup for three attacking positions at FC Bayern where depth is lacking. His transfer value is around €20 million. [source]

I'd be thrilled to get a 26 goal scorer for 20 mil, but considering Lyon may well be Lique 1 champions, I imagine he'd cost a whole lot more. I'd be surprised to see him come to a club that already has Lewandowski and Müller in the striker positions, though.

IMO, he's better than Benzema at the same age.

He can play on either wings. He can basically be a backup for Ribery, Robben and Lewandowski. Given the injury history of Robbery, he could look forward to quite some playing time.

(...) It’s not just wide men that Wenger wants, of course. He also yearns for a world-class goal-getter, which which takes us back to where we came in. Or not. Because rather than pursue Cavani, Wenger has his heart set on luring Alexandre Lacazette from Lyon, who has plundered 26 goals* in 30 Ligue 1 matches the season. The Mill has stuck an asterisk there to remind itself to point out that seven of those 26 goals came from penalties and they should really be counted separately, just as if someone asks you how many cars you own, you should make it clear if your tally includes several that came in Kinder eggs.
That is not to say Lacazette is plod. He is in fact very good. Which is why Manchester City, Bayern Munich and, for what it’s worth, Liverpool are also on his trail. [source]

Lacazette is OUTSTANDING.
I've been watching a lot of french football this year, and he is fantastic, he really is.
He's got that magical touch and scores for fun.
Given the amount of positions he can play, his young age and his skill, if he can be bought, I'm a 100% behind it.
The issue is that I imagine there are few other clubs who feel the same way.

Couple of days ago, an adidas employee said he got to know that Bayern have agreed a move with a french player and have yet to reach an agreement with the club.
Considering it was adidas he got the infos from, its likely adidas are involved in this and participate in the transfer fee.

Lacazette wouldn't be cheap

E: Forgot to say that this employee also wrote about last year's jerseys and was correct.

:o and do you know this employee in person or does he blog somewhere? Lacazette isn't the only French player that FC Bayern have been linked to lately, there's also Griezmann.

If that's the case, I'd be happy either way.
Still prefer Lacazette, though.

Nah I don't. But if he already predicted the jerseys right and I don't know why he'd lie about working for adidas.

Could also be bullshit, but just thought about posting it here. Everything would make sense.

Also last year Karl Hopfner said this :

http://www.augsburger-allgemeine.de/spo ... 62377.html

He was mad about that Manchester deal with adidas. maybe some sort of redemption incoming ?

E: Completely forgot to say where the guy said it  Was on the transfermarkt.de forum.
