I see us moving for another CB, a backup forward, and another attacker(or promoting Benko from the reserves) during winter break. With Martinez in midfield we need another center back for depth, we obviously need another forward, and we're a little short in regards to attackers.

Cause we need to start sucking at penalties again?
Yet he was one of only two Bayern outfield players who scored their penalty in that damned night in Munich in 2012.

I knew you’d reply to that

Erm, no... Dude we barely ever make winter signings - for good reasons... But three? Nah...

That's an unfair comment. Yesterday was the first penalty he missed in over 6 years. Even then, that pitch was clearly responsible for him slipping that way. His previous disallowed goal was simply fantastic.

You’re absolutely right... I didn’t want to ridicule him by that comment, just seemed fitting cause all our penalties were so darn good on Wednesday and that one was shit...

But: I also think the current Gomez is nowhere near the player MUTU would leave his wife and unborn child for...

We definitely need a backup striker...

should we make a poll about this tweet?

Personally, my dream replacement would be Edin Dzeko... What about you?

Stopped reading after the 3rd candidate. Cardiac arrest.

Anyway, Dzeko is probably the one I least prefer, due to the fact that he's cup-tied in the Champions League. For the same reason (and more!) I don't want Uth and Wagner.

Sport1 ... how in the world do they come up with Kiessling? He's finished. He was about to retire twice already.

From that list, Gomez is the obvious choice. Kruse and Wagner won't come.

Yes, we have. Several ones. One of them is you, Kalle.

I think they mean to develop Manuel Wintzheimer and give him a chance in this game...

It's still problematic. I have nothing against a talent being the first backup, but he cannot be the only backup. We need a guaranteed reliable one, even if he's third choice.
