Re: Will Bayern spend 60million plus on a single transfer?

Apologies if there's a similar thread somwhere already. I couldn't see one.

So the transfer question is not who we would want.
The question is how much you think the club would be be willing to bring to the negotiating table.

I merged this topic here.

I don't think there's a limit to our transfers per se. If a player meets Bayern's estimates and we would not get into FFP problems, then Bayern will buy him. For example, imagine if Neymar had a release clause of €100m (which he doesn't) and really wanted to join Bayern, I doubt Bayern would say "he costs too much". But that doesn't mean that Bayern would be willing to pay €100m for, say, Asensio.

So, #12 was right, we're not going to get a winger.

Here goes crashing out of the CL last 16

Only upside is the possible BuLi title race which, hopefully, we will not win, but probably will win anyways and the board can call it a ‘good’ season with our 7th “exciting” BuLi title in a row #-o

I agree with Rummenigge on this one, no more winger needed, otherwise it's a risk for someone having to sacrifice too much on the bench. Time to fix the striker issue, Lewy is heading out for better $$$

I guess I'm fine with it as long as Robbery retire next season. Everytime I think of wingers that are good enough for Bayern I think of Hazard, Mbappe, and/or Salah which is unrealistic. Entering the 2019-20 season Robbery, Vidal, Rudy, Boateng, and possibly Martinez need to leave so we can assess our future.

We shouldn't sell lewa. We need the best players if bayern want to win CL. What's the point in selling lewa and get like 100M. It means losing one of the best and spend nearly all the money getting somebody younger but not as good as him? We can sell neuer too, in fact he is 32 and has no played durig a season. We can sell players if we already have a young player with us like with vidal and tolisso and they can be equally good

I think bale would improve the team but if they trust on gnabry and robben it's just that is the worst covered position on team but that doesn't mean we have to spend more if they want to try with gnabry.

That leaves the sigings of a LB and a CB if they don't plan wiith mai

Bild | Disagreement between Bayern bosses regarding summer transfer activity. Rummenigge refuses to rule out potential big signings while Uli Hoeneß insists there will be no major changes in the squad that Kovač will work with.

Kicker | Uli Hoeneß speaks about selling one or 2 players this summer. Thiago and Juan Bernat are candidates but not Robert Lewandowski who is considered not for sale.

If we sell Thiago and Vidal we shall think of putting Kimmich back to mdf and find a new RB... unless the mgt is not opening a place in mdf for the other full back( Alaba)

Kicker |

- Hoeness against selling Lewandowski
- Manchester clubs are trying to sign Lewandowski
- The door is open for the transfer of Bernat, Thiago and Martinez.
- Vidal's move is in the hands of the player himself

I like Javi, but not totally opposed to replacing him in MF. It's nice having his flexibility though, DM and CB.

Sucks to be Thiago and Javi. Gave everything to the club, even potentially risking careers in these guys' cases, then waking up to read these rumours based off Uli's compulsive reaction to a loss.

Then there are players who haven't performed for literal years and still immune to scrutiny because they're mates with Uli. Thanks for everything Thiago and Javi, won't be surprised if you actually leave.

Give away Kroos for chips and now thinking to sell Thiago and Martinez.
Might as well become a charity organization.

Hoeness has lost his mind. Now go sign Vogt and some other of his useless friends from Hoffenheim.
