We should get a versatile player who can cover both positions.

Markivic Lazar from Benfica [source]

In another thread I've mentioned this interesting wing back who plays for Benfica. Liverpool are already showing great interest in him, and there could also be some sort of negotiations with Chelsea...

In this same article Liverpool are also monitoring Leverkusen's Son

There are already 2 Serbs in Chelsea(Ivanović, Matić), I wouldn't be surprised that Mourinho decides to join another one.

Serbia are also having a great talents these days. Jojić moved to Dortmund and he's already become a fans' favourite player. Striker Aleksandar Mitrović from Anderlecht is also a guy worth to keep an eye on his progress.

Balkan region is looking to recover from an abstaining period which had started from the late 90's and early 2000's.

I was wondering if anyone was considering any serious improvements to the attacking roster we have. I know everyone has their opinions regarding positions in defence, but what about attack?

Which position would you look to strengthen/replace?

Going 180 minutes goalless against top opposition is a cause for concern in my book.

I think Markovic is good but not great. I think he might be a tad overrated.

This is great news. Guardiola will come up with a tactical solution to our problems and he may need some new players that fit that. Look at how much we needed Thiago this season. Some of our problems are down to the players rather than the tactics. For example, I like Mandzukic and I like our CBs. I think they are great but we can improve. Having them as bench players and even better ones available is a dream. I am glad the club is willing to make that happen.

Already looking forward to next season, but we have one more important game left first. :)

1-1 in first half which is fair IMO

I agree. Like I said in another thread since Thiago is so important to our system we must find other players with similar qualities. Koke should be one of the candidates.

I think we used to be interested in him, am I right?

Obviously we can't just buy more midfielders. Someone would have to leave...

i have been following him for a while and i think that our interest in him is justified , but of course our midfield is stacked with Quality players

However, in case Kroos surprises everyone(including himself) and decides to leave , Koke should be our number 1 candidate for his spot

He was not that special today. Bullied and fouled everytime he touched the ball. Commentators seemed to blame him for some of the goals but I don't buy that completely, mostly since they are always out for the simple answer (calling him lazy on one play when he's clearly sprinting). Still he's talented though I hope Goetze and Shaqiri can develop into that role.
