Hello,
honestly I don't know if this has been suggested before. But, wouldn't it be cool if there was a constant chat all day? I don't know how good your servers are, but yeah it could give us a lot more interaction and maybe increase the popularity of this site.

It's been suggested but it's a definite no as it would be in direct competition with the forum itself.

Apart from this, it would also probably be inactive during large parts of the day. What I would suggest though, is to open the chat earlier on certain days when there is a lot of excitement (e.g. when there are finals).
Most of us are on social networks. We can always chat there.

It is like this already. I have a database with a calendar, and for every match I can set the amount of mins (before the match kicks off) for the chat to open. By default it's 15, but for Champions League matches I tend to set it to 30.

Generally yes. Though in the last year I did open it for Dortmund CL matches.

What I mean is that on certain days (ok, probably just a CL final or a really big game like last season vs Barca) it should be open much longer than that, a few hours before the game if not all day.

This will lessen off-topic Nazi's job. 
But what I suggest would be to open them in big games not only in Bayern games. For example, City Barca later, most of us would probably watching so it'll be nice to chat.
