Guys calm down, we are lucky to have one of the smartest people leading this club. Bayern management is like Barca's where we are selling world class talent for pocket change. Also Robben is on his final year and Ribery is pushing 30 it really makes not even the slightest sense to sell Shaqiri also it makes no sense for Shaqiri to move knowing that. In my opinion unless someone offers a record breaking transfer fee selling him would make no sense.....

I am not afraid of the management wanting to sell, I am afraid Shaqiri is unhappy and wants to leave in search of first team football, especially being an important international and WC14 coming through!

The Swiss NT is not like the German or Brazilian NT full of world class players, im confident Shaqiri will get to start if he makes the WC.....

Not my point, my point is that he will want to play regularly as a person before the WC regardless of what his national teams position.

We are definitely not selling Xherdan!.... If he is convinced he can not get enough playing time this season, we can alway loan him out to a Bundesliga rival, like Bayer04.... I'm sure they'll be happy about it, now that they have lost Schuerrle and need to play in CL....

Guardiola's insane policies are fuelling these rumours.

Quotes from Thiago's press conference:

Our coach thinks very highly of Shaqiri. We have not plans to sell or loan him. We don't want to sell or loan anyone as of today.

Can and Hojbjerg should be loaned at the very least.
Emre CAN do it.

Man United Set Sights On £17m Bayern Munich Youngster

Man United have set their sights on Bayern Munich starlet Xherdan Shaqiri as David Moyes looks to adopt a youthful transfer policy as he seeks to put his long term stamp on the Old Trafford squad he has inherited from former boss Sir Alex Ferguson.

CaughtOffside understands that the Scottish boss has been monitoring Swiss international Shaqiri amid talk of a possible departure from the Allianz Arena this summer.

The highly rated attacker may struggle to make an impact at Bayern Munich following the arrival of Pep Guardiola and young additions Mario Gotze and Thiago Alcantara.

The 21 year old winger managed just 13 Bundesliga starts last term and perhaps most tellingly was handed just one start in Bayern Munich’s triumphant Champions League run.

Moyes is keen to freshen up Man United’s wide attacking options with the likes of Luis Antonio Valencia, Ashley Young and Nani all struggling for form last term, managing just two goals between them in 60 Premier League appearances during the 2012/13 campaign.

Shaqiri is considered one of the hottest young properties in European football but has struggled to retain a foot-hold in the Bayern Munich first team where Thomas Muller and Franck Ribery are certainties in their respective right and left wing positions. Arjen Robben acts as a back-up option and the trio are all ahead of the former FC Basel man in the Bavarian side’s pecking order.

Man United are thought to be willing to offer up to €20m (£17m) for the young attacker who has amassed 169 club appearances to his name for both FC Basel and Bayern Munich as well as 25 national team caps. [source]

Pff this is really no good...
Shaq could easily breakthrough ManU XI and it could be really hard for him to deny them if they want him for a starter...

As for our board and Pep,they MUST NOT let Shaqiri leave at any price,Bayern have money,we don't need money,we need prospect like Shaq.

If Bayern sell Shaqiri then they will have to go out and find another back up/replacement for Ribery so selling him really doesnt make sense....

We won't be letting Shaqiri go.
