He reminds me of a cross between Ribéry and Robben -- hey, Robbery! He has the speed and jinking moves, and nice lobs.

Just what we need =D>

I'm confident he'll make a breakthrough at some point in the season. Whether it's because Robben leaves, Robben is injured, just being in better form or simply playing next to Robbery, I am 99% sure he will find his place.

Curious if he'll end up playing as a CAM, since we desperately need one if we are to play a single striker formation. As Müller seems more suited for the wings, and Kroos more as CM/DM.

He seemed to "float" with Basel, so maybe we could have him, Robben and Ribery rotating between the three forward positions?!?

The opposition defence won't know what hit them!

Bayerns Legendary coach Ottmar Hitzfeld said that Shaqiri is Bayerns player of the Future and will be their main player in a few years

He also added that shaqiri will become a starter here either this season or next season
And that he wont be another Podolski (even though i believe we werent really fair)

Wonderful MOM performance yesterday. He looked menacing all game. Free kicks, coming backto assit on defense, crosses, you name it. Very promising future on this one if there was any doubts prior.

He impressed me very much. Such a talent! He has vision and sense for passing. I hope Heynckes will give him a lot of opportunities to prove himself and get necessary experience. Go Shaqiri!

I'm sure he will get his chances. If he takes his chances, he has the talent to replace one of our more established players in the lineup.

Probably next season our new player in the first 11, or maybe even sooner as it was mentioned in some football circles.

I hope Shaqiri gets the chance to shine. I hope that if any player drops form (I'm specifically talking about Müller Robben) that they'd be benched to allow Shaqiri to come in.

We can't let sentiment get in the way of success this season. Not when our bench has drastically improved this summer.

A start next game should be on JH's notebook, especially that Ribery needs to be kept safe till the next CL game.

Oh yes... we need to trust them, the young lads... if we can''t trust them against Nuernberg, are we going to trust them vs. Valencia??!! or next week against Hannover??... Or do we want to use the same 11-12 players all the time and make them really tired and injury-prone?!
