I think Bayern have a concrete interest in Hoilett. But I love seeing Alaba on the flanks all in all a good decision. And Mutu the deal is as good as done!

If we do get him I can see us switching to a 4-4-1-1 in the long run. In Alaba & Shaqiri we would have a balanced LM & RM which would allow Kroos to play next to Schweini without risking defensive stability. Of course this wouldnt happen for a while as Ribery & Robben wont be sacrificed any time soon.

Oh Goddd.... Let this be true...
Signning Shaqiri and just for 9M could be a miracle
Now I'm happy we didn't sign Reus... Shaqiri's way more talented than Reus... :D

Sour grapes, eh dambun? :P

This is a pretty interesting situation. Assuming of course that all the rumours are true and he is ready to sign in the coming days... certainly Basel do not wish to publicize the fact given that they have a game with Bayern coming up, and conversely Uli must be desperate to show a bit of good news after all the crap that's happened in the last few weeks.

A kind of irrelevent question:

How is his name pronounced :D? Is it like Cherdan? Zerdan? Serdan?

I have my doubts about his talent...let's hope I am wrong:)

He has a killer left foot..that is for sure...and a good cross...but can he dribble, pass, etc...? Videos just show his killer left foot...do we have anyone on this forum who watches him regulary?

The deal is 90% done, Bayern and Basel just discussing whether the fee would be 9M + the added bonuses or the amount would be set at 10-12 M

Almost everything else is done! - Blick
