So what you're saying is that it is a fact that Bayern have first option on Shaqiri?

Any announcement on Shaqiri, will be made only after both the legs of the next round of CL. We are the favorites and the player would like to join us, now it all comes down to money!

Bayern Munich closing in on Basel's Xherdan Shaqiri

It says that the deal will take place before the CL matches.

Also Report From Kicker :

http://www.kicker.de/news/fussball/bundesliga/startseite/564323/artikel_bayern-verhandeln-mit-shaqiri.html

So Kicker claims that the deal could be announced this week ! Transfer fee :10-12 Mio

Delightful, if true. Death sentence for Usami, but what can you do.

Are we launching a new Facebook app? :P The mentioned price seems too good to be true and falls short of Galatasaray offer.

At "ten to twelve" million Euros this transfer makes the Reus dilemma look like a blessing instead. Spox & TZ picked up the story as well, but so far Kicker seems to be doing all the talking. I agree, looks like a sayōnara deal to Usami too.

Mutu Shaqiri didn't sign for Gala not because of the money because he didn't wanna go there! Bayern will be giving 10-12 Million upfront with incentives! A better deal!

Just one of these things in football. I'll be disappointed to see Usami go, but excited to see Shaqiri arrive!
