20 million pounds = 24 million euro, for him?
They must be crazy if they give so much money for that player.
12 million euro are more than enough.
With so much money you buy James Rodriguez from Porto, who is a real left-footed talent and plays in more positions, and he is taller too.

1-Galatasaray offered 12 million euros + Bonuses but it was not enough ... so they want more , but surely less than 24 million euros

2-A Player from Porto??? Porto is THE MOST Expensive club in the world when it coems to selling players , you wont get any porto player for less than 20 million euros (including their 3rd GK :P)

Bolton said no to 15m for Gary Cahill last year and now he left for 7m..so things can change, but Shaquiri has to demand a transfer for that to happen. You guys know if he wants to leave?

Based on the twitter post asking which team he should join I think he kind of marked his intentions to leave. I wouldn't be happy with his tweet if I was a Basel fan...

I honestly think it wasn't the money here. Don't you think Galatasaray would have bid more? 1st. They bid 9M and then they bid 11 M just a difference of 2 M?

Gala has serious money and they wanted him too. The reason why the deal didn't go through was maybe because Shaqiri didn't want Gala. So no matter what offer Basel could not accept it.

Based on Shaq's twitter post, he was interested in joining Galatasaray. In fact, the kid's desperate to leave. lately, only Bayern and Liverpool are interested in him according to his tweets

I found out that yesterday, Shaqiri tweeted the following:

Xherdan Shaqiri wrote:For all my fans in Istanbul, I'm sorry. I can't do anything. maybe Bayern and Liverpool will come to talk about my future.

This seems to indicate that Bayern are not really negotiating with Basel yet.

Is that really him? or just a provoking agent???... I'm not sure!
I have a feeling we are making analysis and judgments based on unreliable data!
