He was an asset, but a grossly misused one. He should have played an impact sub / rotation role, not first guy in our lineup.

No message for Lahm by our dear ex coach?

In all fairness, you can see this was a clip for an interview with Alonso... Would be weird to talk about Lahm

Real and Liverpool got the best ouf of him, when he was declined,Real kicked him out. Lahm is our legend who gave world class perfonmances for many years while this guy got so-so in his first year, we played with 10 men especially this season with him. so l don't give a damn about his football legend status, since he is not my club's legend. Even Real didn't think about his legend status, why us should care?

he gave his best years to Real, Real kicked him out when he declined.
he gave nothing to us, we should care about it? Really?

Sayin you don't give a f*ck about a game's legend just because he arrived here late is freaking disrespectful. You don't have to like him; but just try and imitate him and see what you come up with.

I care about Alonso ... leaving. 8)

He was the biggest problem of Bayern last season and had a wide card from his coach. So no pity, no respect from me.

I don't care at all. I'm just happy he will not wear the Bayern jersey anymore because he did more wrong thing than good thing for the club. And that's the only aspect I look as a Bayern fan.

I think that's YOUR approach and yours alone...
Mime: It's not that I don't give a ****, I'm happy he's leaving...

But that's not even my point... If it was Ronaldo or Ramos, when it was others, I didn't or wouldn't give a **** as well... And you might well argue they're legends of the game...
I love the game - not necessarily all of its players...

I have nothing against Xabi, actually I still thank him for what he did in 2005 for my other favorite tm against one of the teams I dislike most...
But he shouldn't have come to bayern...
He was a liability... and I don't blame him I blame the coaches that wanted him and played him

When Bastian Schweinsteiger gets a proper farewell at Chicago Fire, I'll know he has gone on to a club that appreciates a player's contribution to the sport; not just to their museum. I sincerely hope he receives the same farewell Bayern is doing for Alonso. I makes you realize he plays for a Gentleman's club, not one of narrow minded savages.

You think he would've gotten it at ManUre?

it all comes down to the fact that Ancelotti kept putting him on the field, week after week... i'm happy he's retiring to be honest, but won't be mad about him being here
