I really hate it when he fires such fees...
If I am the President of a club and bayern calls for a player I will ask for 85 95 105

it all depends on smartness and quickness. There won't be Neymar and Mbappe level players on the market every year. We can sign many top players with 70 m euros with some bonus if we act quick. if needed, they will spend even more. Don't believe in their demagogy. The clubs will ask for more accordingly.

if they say they would spend crazy figures on players, no way we will sign the likes of Süle for 20 m euros though Chealse offered 35-40 m euros.

l think our problem is that we are to emotional to some players. For instance, Ribery is a burden for Bayern for 2 years and we still talk about renewing his contract. Even thinking about is crazy. as if we are a charity club.

Five years ago spending 40m for Martinez was absurd maybe more than spending 70m now for Bayern's standards. Now we will do it once again if the occasion rises and that particular player fullfills the criteria. Last summer I didn't see any available player who fitted in Bayern for that amount. I believe what Uli said and I think the only player we missed for that kind of money was De Bruyne, nobody else, that was our only mistake regarding breaking the bank on a single player.

Our biggest mistake was Goetze...

De Bryune was inexcusable. Look at the versatility he brings:

- He can play AM or a deeper playmaking role
- He is very quick and can instigate a counter attack blitz
- His finishing and long range shooting of either foot is world class
- He can do more than a decent job when played on either wing as well.

There is no one in the world at the moment, let alone our one dimensional squad that provides this kind of versatility. He does many things and each of them is world class as opposed to someone like Muller who does several things but is not at a world class level at any of them.

All this too, without any display of an ego. That's what annoys me the most. Here is a player with a level head and temperament who looked tailor made for Bayern and the board did not see that this could be a player for the next 10yrs.

Hoeneß: We will definitely not make any 100m signing this summer. We will go to next season with more or less the same squad. We will see what Kovač will do.We need players who perform in the big and important games and not just against weak opposition. We will work on it.

Hoeneß rules out big summer spending : We won't invest but we have to make our players play better than they did yesterday.

What you expect more from Ribéry? What you expect from Muller on the wing? To sprint, cross and score like Bale? What do you expect more from Lewandowski, since he clearly don't want to play with Bayern? Always words, words and words. If you want to win in Europe, you must invest. Is this such difficult thing to understand ? If Kovac can't find a way to compete against the top teams in Europe, he'll pin all the blame on him and kick him out.
