Off-topic. But to answer you he was seated next to Dreesen.

Maybe Dreesen showed Uli the middle finger and he stormed off elsewhere.

Too soon?

The story is that he had it shouldered and used his hand to stabilize it, somewhere somehow a shot was fired along the way. Could've been that it was slipping off his shoulder, went to catch it and mistakenly/unknowingly put his hand over the barrel....Then perhaps the trigger snagged on something and discharged. It's improbable but not unheard of at all

I thought I read that he accidentally shot himself while getting back into his car unless Google Translate trolled me.

Yeah that's correct, I think. I've also read it as just "he was on his way back to the car". in that circumstance - probably similar, where I'd presume he was grabbing the firearm to put it in the trunk or w/e and same thing happened. But I'm getting pretty speculative at this point, lol

Uli:
1.Karl-Heinz Rummenigge and I have come together again. The integration was not easy for me after my time in prison.
2.We are not just competing against PSG, Manchester City, Chelsea etc. but against Qatar, UAE governments and Russian Oligarchs. So we have to be creative.

I am glad that Uli dare speak up and put issue on the table: we are facing state-sponsored teams. Yet he did not put real and Barca in the list. You can't beat these teams with simply spending big. City's big buy B.Silva flopped, but that's fine, UAE's gonna give them 10000 billion (obviously figure of speech) to buy players until they get someone who doesn't flop. If Bayern buys someone for 100 million and he flops, Uli and KHR are gonna have a hard time explaining at the meeting. If Bayern fail 2 -3 big buys in, like, 5 years, there will be a considerable chance that Bayern may go bankrupt.

I don't believe these teams can be stopped by some bullcrap FFP policies, circumventing around UEFA regulations is a piece of cake for the Sheikhs. I cannot understand what Uli means by "being creative". But I cannot see the possibility of Bayern being able to compete with the national powers of Qatar and UAE without a little "help". Part of me want Bayern to stay pure at football and earn all their money, fame and success by themselves, but the major part of me want Bayern to stay competitive in European competitions.

Uli his relationship with KHR

Another positive aspect of the night in Paris was that "Karl-Heinz and I have got together again." After his time in prison and his return as president "it wasn't so easy," Hoeneß admitted. "But that night and the following weeks have made us cooperate very closely again. It's fun to work together, and we're inseparable again." Together, Hoeneß and Rummenigge aim to "set the right course so that this club keeps flourishing."
