:o

From Thiago's list, Neuer is the only one who didn't play in Spain. The rest played for Barcelona, Real Madrid or they're his father who played in Spain anyway.

Well... Most of those are pretty much universally regarded as legendary players. It's understandable, even though I would have liked one or two more of his current team mates in there.

Sergio Ramos is the one that makes me a tad mad.

Picking abidal was a good gesture from Thiago after his fight with Cancer....

This team would lose against every well organized good team.
Neuer - Kimmich Boateng Hummels Alaba - Goretzka Thiago James - Robben Lewandowski Coman
Ulreich - Rafinha Martinez Süle Bernat - Tolisso Rudy Sanches - Müller/Gnabry Wagner Ribéry

Well you have to divide those tackle and interception stats in half because half of those he's was covering for Alonso. So really Alonso deserves credit for them lol. Thiago has been outstanding considering he's actually having to play 2 positions at once.

Thiago Alcantara has 1245 ball touches after 12 Bundesliga games - more than any other player.

Far and away our best player this season IMO. Seemingly one of the few to benefit from 4-3-3.

Thiago is really growing on me. I'm a fan, but I still feel he needs someone (Vidal or Sanches) to make up for his weak physicality which then enables him to shine more.

He has a momentous task: he has Alonso battling him in provision/passing/creativity and additionally he has to clean up his mistakes.

Like Sanches is getting passing training from Carlo, Thiago needs shooting and crossing training. l don't think his perfomances has nothing to do with 4-3-3 but more freedom under Carlo.

FWIW, Thiago leads the team in both attempted tackles and successful tackles (and consequently, total tackles) this season, as well interceptions and tactical fouls....I'm not sure physicality is really an issue...

As I said - maybe Bayern's most flair-ish or style-ish player ever. He just has that slickness in his movement, dribbling and passing.

If only he couldnt have had those injuries... Hope he stays fit, deffo an MVP so far this season.
