Del Bosque was soooo bad in the last few years. Thiago is bound to become the central midfield cog for Spain alongside Koke and Busquets.

46' Thiago Alcantara is leaving the field to be replaced by Nolito in a tactical substitution.

Would've taken Busquets out in stead of Thiago, but ok....Spain were playing dreadfully in the first half. So many sloppy passes, overhit crosses, and just no communication.
She’s beauty, she’s grace, if u tell her she only watches football for the attractive players she’ll punch u in the face.

Total ho for Thiago :P

Speaking of la Roja, Julen Lopetegui spent several years in charge of Spain's youth teams and he worked extensively with Thiago and Javi Martinez, therefore, both players have a decent chance to play a major role with Spain from now on.

I suspected as much from the result. I read live commentary and it doesn't seem as though Thiago was doing much though.

From what I've seen he was doing fine, couple of good tackles, nice passes, but it was a bus parking Liechtenstein...and Spain's tactic seemed to be long balls into the box. Makes sense to put in an extra attacker. I'm just annoyed bc I wanted a Thiago goal to give him some extra confidence for us.

I saw in an app he was subbed off at 46' and my heart stopped for a moment thinking he picked up an injury  but thank god he didn't haha. Successful international break [-o<

Can we talk about his pass to Alaba for Müller's goal? It wasn't the most graceful, but man the accuracy - and from just one touch!

From 2013. . . :P

In all fairness I didn't call Kroos pledging his loyalty to Florentino...

Not quite an oversight though. Dude was dead and buried at the time for all we cared. Had been so for more than six months. :P

We're going to a catastrophe if Ancelotti want to use him as a #6 regista. [-o< [-o<

So you prefer Nonno Alonso instead?
