Rafinha Alcântara is in even better position than Thiago was at that stage at Barça and look at how that turn out. I don't think barça is letting him go just yet, and no release clauses either.

And Rafinha is Enrique's favorite player. Alcântara is not only synonymous to creativity, but also teachers' pet.

Are you seriously considering his brother? Why do you want to be so cruel on the shirt guys? Can you imagine them trying to figure out what name to have on his back? Rafinha? No, it's already used... Alcântara? No, too confusing.

No I'm not. I also think Thiago is better, but rafinha is even younger and developing extremely quick. I hope he stays at barça with a clear chance to have serious importance in the future. He certainly looks like he's staying in though.

Yes, a contract that runs out next year and contains a release clause.

I'm hoping for him to see more minutes tonight. His performance on Saturday was really impressive.

He's come backing looking as brilliant as ever - a pleasure to watch, and a new dimension for the Bayern attack. If he can be persuaded to stay long enough at Bayern (a possibility since Bayern have formed a small Spanish colony) then he could be central to the Bayern team after the current players in their thirties scale back.

This guy was pure CLASS! I hope he is a Bayern player for life, his dribbling and ball retention were a joy to watch yesterday. Also his goal was a very good play.

Same here. At first I thought Thiago would leave as soon as Pep does, but now, seeing the passion he has shown throughout his return process, and considering the way the club was so patient with and took care of him, I think he will be with us for a long time. 8)
