Congrats Thiago!

Him and Isco are the young torch bearers for Spain. I was expecting Isco to get a call-up first because he plays for RM now but then again, he's warming the bench.

Not really surprised. It's unquestionable that Thiago is having a superior season, and as lobg as the players fit his system, Del Bosque tends to be fair.

It was during the start of the season that I thought of it. Because Isco was having a super start while Thiago got injured.

Well it's time for Thiago to play in the senior team, let's see if his influence in the U21s will translate. But I pray all our internationals come back as they left. [-o<

I got to be honest but I could swear I saw him play in person with the big boys already. And I wasn't drunk. I think. Now I am not sure. :?

Thiago Alcântara has been capped 3 times in 2011 and once in 2013. He missed Euro 2012 due to injury.

Kroos is a guy who controls the game and makes the whole team better without needing others to do his dirty work.

I'm telling you, those "Thiagos" are having a hard time keeping up. Here, another rave review on the 'dirty worker'.

Let me just say what everyone else is thinking... Thanks to our management for spotting such a good player and the loophole in the contract to get him on the cheap (25 million vs 90 million)! And thanks to the Barca lawyer/man manager for being careless.

He surely won't make it back so quickly. If we're going to hope for anyone Shaqiri probably has a bigger chance of returning in time.
