Its including bonusses. Lewandowski received 10m bonus for signing on top of a ~9m salary.

Really? Where is that information coming from, or how is that measured? Not saying it isn't true, I'm just wondering because whenever there is a popularity poll on footballers or sportsmen in Germany, he's never at the top and in fall there were public complaints how Mario's image "isn't right". Might be different in other countries, of course.

Just the impression I got on an international level. His Twitter account gets a lot of tweets and retweets. Neuer got more followers than him but he is more active in his social media use. He has numerous international brands that he is endorsing that I've seen outside of German TV. The only time I've seen Bayern players' like Schweinsteiger in a commercial is when I watch a German stream.

Robert Lewandowski praised his Bayern Munich team-mates and dismissed claims he did not fit in at the Bundesliga giants.

All those rumors in the beginning really annoyed me, especially since they were clearly false.

I love this guy, I laughed at all of the bland Los blancos fans told me he didn't like bayern and he was leaving... People need to stay away from Spanish media reporting of internal Bayern affairs.

Was worried we wouldn't have a difference maker with Robben out, but Lewandowski has stepped in to lead the way for Bayern! =D>
