Surrounded by mediocrity. While Suarez has Messi and Benzema had Ronaldo. Even Cavani has Neymar. We give him Coman.

Cristiano is not a playmaker like Messi/Neymar and has always been the 1st scoring option, how's that an advantage for Benzema?

The fact he's scored 48 UCL-goals for RM despite being rotated with Adebayor/Higuain and being 3rd fiddle is an amazing feat.

Ronaldo might not be a playmaker, but his football IQ is so high he can easily give assists as well.

Haven't checked his stats but I'm sure he has pretty good numbers

And also having Ronaldo on the same team means he would attract more defenders leaving more space for Benzema.

Not really, it was the other way around.

Benzema was the decoy who made intelligent off-ball runs to create space & openings for Cristiano.

And assists doesn't say anything on how great a player is for chance creation.

Best modern striker Bayern has/had. And easily world's best No. 9. No way around that.

Also, I LOVED how he celebrated every goal this last game. What a turnaround after last summer. Hope he extends until 2023 or something. Seeing he is a physical MONSTER, I really think he could stay top fit for years to come.

his game has evolved this season. MUCH more of a team player - look at the assists. in my opinion one of his best seasons for Bayern.

Phenomenal performance today. Clear MoTM for me despite the lack of goals.

I’m sure the board gave Lewa some assurances we would be bringing in world class talent, who those names are? I’m sure we will see real soon.

Considering what his previous comments were about Robbery and the quality gone - he sure wanted adequate replacements, although Coman & Gnabry are doing well. Except that the first one is Corning Gorilla Glass Ver. 0.0001

Someone on this forum was saying that Jovic is a better finisher?

I'll tell you what - it doesnt get better than this at that aspect of the game, except Messi and Ronaldo.
