He cant play every game, and every game for 90 min, and run up and down, and back to center of park to get ball to create. It is impossible to maintain.

I agree with Lewa there really is much to take away from the preseason, we had some good games in as well as some bad ones...

Lewy said today that we still need a world-class player and 40 million is not gonna get you world star and I agree with him though I think he is talking about the wing more than anything...we need that star on the wing fresh face ..I don't know who but we need one

He's right... We have a lot of players relying on the club, showing their trist by spending their prime here, and the club just screws them over by gambling on cheap leftovers... Of you buy cheap, you buy twice...

Lewy is right that we should add more world-class players, but he probably ought to start playing like a world-class player himself if he wants to be taken seriously. I love Lewy and don't doubt his qualities but he has been pretty poor for the 17/18 season thus far IMO

True... On the other hand: who hasn't? At least he scored 60% of our goals (gosh, sooooo embarrassing to even write this... )

Haha yes. He certainly isn't alone and I didn't mean to single him out.

But what I mean is this:
It's one thing if Lewandowski is playing at a top/world-class level and the rest of his teammates keep letting him down. His words would carry more weight if this were the case.
But, rather, overall I think he is playing average at best, and not really appreciably better than the rest of the team...by and large, they're all playing pretty mediocre football right now. So it seems to ring a bit hollow, I guess.
