Sigh. Just hope other talents don't see this situation and get scared off.

I swear if he leaves and becomes world class!

What pisses me off is I don’t think he got a fair shot. His first couple years at a big club were always going to be a struggle. Unlike Tolisso and Goretzka he didn’t have as much experience under his belt and he was playing in a foreign country learning a completely new language. At least Tolisso was already an established player but Sanches was 19/20 years old. I hope we can convince him he has a future here cause you can see the flashes of talent, but if he wants to do what’s best for his career I wouldn’t mind.

Can't see tweet? Click here!

Felt this was worth mentioning with recent lack of professionalism by some players recently.

It's good for him for sure, but he should still be looking to leave, if we're being honest. He hardly played without Tolisso last season and now Tolisso is fit and we're shopping for a 6. He can't possibly be naive enough to believe any promises of playing time from Kovac again. Unless the bosses have given him some assurances beyond Kovac, I can't see it making sense.

I also recall seeing the news talk about how happy James looked in training and how he was gonna stay and etc, too... ;)

Niko Kovač: "I’ve made it very clear, Sanches isn’t going anywhere.” [Bundesliga.com]

Give him some PLAYING TIME, then.

All the Bundesliga sides are European.

I know what you mean though, the problem is Tolisso also needs game time, first of all because of his injury and secondly because although he’s already great, he’s still youn and could probably improve a lot. He’s the better talent.

Probably Goretzka is also ahead of Sanches, although Sanches had more potential back when we signed him.

This club is a complete joke. Just move on, let him leave and buy a player we really need instead...

Fúck it, the only responsible for destroying Renato and his potential is our board. If he never becomes anything top or at least close to top player, FC Bayern shall carry the responsibility.

Therefore I think this is a very crucial time for the young Portuguese and Kovač with this attitude and rhetoric must give him room for development. There are no excuses anymore. The Croat completely failed last year and lied to the player, this is all or nothing.

I would rather sell him than keep him and force a move in Renato's place since all this makes no sense if there are no guarantees he'll play a lot.

Let's hope he will be given a real chance. I think it's fair to say we have all waited 2 years for this opportunity for Renato to really show what he's capable of.
